Zach Mandeville: Storytellers

NZSL Interpreted Performance(s)

Zach Mandeville has a long and storied history in comedy, one that's largely unknown to New Zealand. In this hour, he tells the stories behind his most beloved jokes. It is a rare look behind an oft-misunderstood man, and a survey of the strange and serpentine history of alternative comedy. .

Zach is a standup comedian who has performed multiple award-winning shows at the Fringe and is the co-producer of Airhorn, one of the town's best loved montly shows. This will be a new hour of fresh takes on older sets and a dose comedy history that is all about the past but also, in it's own way,  all about today.  It'll be edge of your seat fun!

Praise for Zach Mandeville

"a genuine thrill...a marvel"

- wellyott.com

"Zach has a true talent for world building, and his characters have a wonderful sense of humanity to them even if they aren't human"
- theatreview.org.nz

"So well honed, so sharp, so funny...the type of comedy I love - a fantastical thread of storytelling that was all at once cerebral and absurd"

- Simon Sweetman
