Horizon
Adrift at sea, Richard and Luigi brave the seasons and days together as they progressively make their way toward the horizon. Will they give into the waves and let the ocean consume them or will they push through to see another day?
HORIZON is a brand new aburdist-comedy play written by NZ playright Nathan King and directed/performed by Rose McKenzie and Charly Baker. The show takes typical absurdist tropes and flips them around from fatalism to hope. HORIZON is an attempt to be a voice in the dark, a sunset on the horizon (HA!) for people who feel they're lost, drifting in a sea they have no say over.
It's a crying call to the void saying, "You matter, this matters, we matter, love matters, and you are worth the effort, time and energy it will take to get better."
If we have any strong testimony, it's the truth that it does get better. Everywhere. Always.
