A top secret, future-defining meeting is about to take place. Everything falls on an overworked cleaner, three bumbling P.A.s, and a paranoid secrete agent... Subversive and snappy, the circus of civil affairs in Aotearoa is brought to life with humour and vitality in this farcical one-woman political satire The Meeting.
From two vibrant seasons in Otautahi to an international Commedia dell'Arte festival in Italy, The Meeting is making a debut season in Wellington before continuing to spread its chaos across Aotearoa.
This project was created by Lola Houghton, with and directed by Pedro Ilgenfritz, as part of Hagley Theatre School's Six Month Theatre Creation Course in partnership with Isaac Theatre Royal.
