The door creaks. The lights inexplicably flicker. Footsteps are heard where there's no one around. The air seems thicker in here. Who's that standing in the corner?
You are formally invited to Afterdark Manor for an evening of stories, history and some casual chit chat with the otherside. Your host: A local gothic recluse, hobbiest historian and last of his line, Mark Afterdark welcomes you into his family home for this special evening. The Afterdark Story Society or "The A.S.S" for short is for those who strive to see beyond veil and make sense of what bumps in the night.
The Afterdark Story Society is a developmental immersive theatre show which aims to use practical effects and theatre technology to engulf an audience in a world beyond our own. You'll believe ghosts are real.
Maybe they are.
Set in the historic Inverlochy House, audiences will be guided through a night in the creaky hallways of one of Wellington's most iconic heritage buildings and reportedly one of the most haunted in Aotearoa.
This is a speical Fringe event for those brave enough to welcome the unknown
